Mike Dundas

As Assistant Vice President of Signal Maintenance and Construction, Mike Dundas brings more than 25 years of experience in railroad signal engineering, construction, maintenance, and operations management. At CDL Electric, he oversees all signal maintenance, and construction projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

Before joining CDL Electric, Mike held senior leadership positions with Wabtec Corporation, the Terminal Railroad Association of St. Louis, and Union Pacific Railroad. His career includes leading signal engineering projects for large system integration projects, Class I and short line railroads, the successful implementation of a Positive Train Control (PTC) system, managing large-scale infrastructure projects, and directing multi-state signal maintenance territories within Class I and Class III railroads.

Mike is recognized for his results-driven leadership, technical depth, and ability to build high-performing teams that deliver complex projects on time and within budget—qualities that make him an invaluable part of CDL Electric’s continued growth and success.
